Hi everyone, was looking through some threads about water bottle holders and someone sent a link for one and I thought.. "I could make this"...
It can be made 2 ways..very easily..
Bottle Holder #1
Get a plastic o ring from your hardware store I used:
- inner diameter of 1 1/8" with an outside diameter of 1 5/16 out.
Cost @ .20 cents.
-clip (the kind that looks like rock climbers use) I used a smaller one about 2".
Cost @ .25 cents.
-round key ring (sturdy, not the real thin ones) I ours lying around.
Cost ? cheap..
Thread the oring through the keychain loop. Open clip and put keychain through. This size seems to hold water bottles & gatorade type (sports type)
*You can then clip this to yourself or your bag. Also you can clip your car keys onto this..
I made another one but instead of using the keychain, I used a 4 1/2" peice of nylon (lanyard type material) and sewed it into a loop with oring, and clip on each side. I then took a match and singed the end so it wouldn't frey.
Here is a link as to what it resembles..
