Water view at POR

My in-laws are doing their very first Disney trip this May with us. They have booked a water view at Port Orleans Riverside. We really want to stay in Alligator Bayou. Are there any rooms that overlook the river in the AB, or would they all be pool-view?
Also - is it possible to request a king bed or is there an additional charge for that?

We stayed in AB14 last year, and had a water view room. You had to go out onto the walkway, but you could see the river. We were on the second floor.
