Do they still rent these? My kids have seen them in the tv commercial and want to try them but I don’t see them on the DCL website anywhere.

I believe you can't reserve such things pre-cruise. But, if available, you just pick them up on the island. This is from the DCL website:

Boat Rentals
Set sail in the boat of your choice and embark on a breezy excursion atop the crystal-blue waters of Castaway Cay. Choose a sleek 1-person sea kayak, a charming 4-person paddleboat, a fun 2-person aqua trike or an active stand-up paddleboard for your water adventure!

Do they rent bikes with training wheels? A bike ride sounds fun but my son may need a little help riding.

@PrincessShmoo is correct (as she always is)! No pre-reservations, you just stop by the water sports beach area on Castaway Cay to reserve. We didn't do the aqua trikes - we rented kayaks instead - but they looked like fun! There were also stand-up paddle boards, paddle boats, and small sailboats for rent, too.

I took a picture of the price board:

It's a pretty large area you can paddle around in, and it's also very shallow so you can see lots of little shells and sand dollars on the bottom. DD5 enjoyed leaning over the kayak and trying to spot sea life and shells under us.

Thanks for the confirmation (and nice compliment). Can I save your picture to my files?

Awesome! perfect picture

My son and I rented the aqua trike on our first visit to Castaway Cay! It was a lot of fun but something to keep in mind since you don’t mention how old your kids are. On the ride back in the wind picked up and we had such a hard time pedaling back to the beach. They life guard came out to see if we needed help but after a lot of hard pedaling we did finally make it back in on our own.

Might have been due to our combined weight (2 adults, total of about 320 lbs), I found the AquaTrike not very easy and it "looked" more fun than the reality. It probably also didn't help that, since I'm about 8 inches shorter than my husband, I couldn't reach the pedals as effectively.

Yes, we rented the Aqua Trike last month and enjoyed it. We also rent regular bikes on every trip and love riding those.

You can buy advance tickets for regular bikes during online check-in, but you don't need to. Aqua Trikes are walk-up only.

Also keep in mind that at least one person on the aqua trike has to be 13 years old or older.

Do you need to bring cash to rent these items or can they add it to your key card?
