We are going on our first cruise on Mar. 30th (4 day) I've heard that the water is so cold in Nassau and Castaway Cay that you can hardly swim in it. We are considering taking a snorkeling excursion in Nassau but don't want to spend the money if the kids won't get in the water!

We too are going in March and I read that it's usually in the 80's and that water temp is 75 or so. Sorry, but I don't remember where I got the info. from, maybe bahamasvg.com

Have only cruised in March before (spring break time) and the water in both places is wonderful -- weather usually in the low 80's and water very comfortable to swim in. You should be fine the end of March. We are on DCL 3/23 4 day and can't wait.

Thanks for all the great information. We are looking forward to the cruise. I have found a website that indicates the water temperature is fairly close to the average monthly temperature (makes sense, huh?). So, we expect it to be around 75-78 degrees F.:D

We are on the 3/30 Wonder too!! Looking forward to some warm beach weather!!
