Water star Orlando project by animal kingdom lodge

Waterstar Orlando is a 35-acre project that will include retail, restaurants and 320 residential accommodations. The multistory residential units will be very close to animal kingdom lodge parking….

I’m naive of how this will impact things but was wondering if this could mean there would be dining and retail in walking distance to animal kingdom lodge?

If it's anything like the Bonnet Creek development, there will be fences and/or alligator and snake infested greenspace between that and Disney property.

I highly doubt WDW will allow you to walk there. Even though it will be a few hundred feet away from the resort, it will probably take 5-8 minutes to drive to it.

That would require sidewalks and that won't happen.
