Water slide hotels?

Are there any resorts near Disney World that have water slides, but would be cheaper than staying at a Disney moderate resort? I have one niece who is water-slide obsessed, and thought I would see if there were any more economical options out there than a Disney resort. TIA!

the sheraton safari is right outside dtd and has a cool waterslide....its also cheap and nice

If you can get a good deal at Nick Hotel than that is an option. Last year we got a rate of $119 per night for a 2 bedroom suite so it was worth it. When you have to pay $200+ per night its not so see if you can find any deals.

The Gaylord Palms does. It's convinient to the parks.

Keep in mind what you save to stay off property versus staying in a moderate on porperty. You may pay back for parking or shuttles. You give up being able to use the free ME if you are flying in.

They recently opened the Coco Key resort on International Drive, it's an older hotel that's been renovated but the slides area they put in look pretty good.

A hotel I recently stayed at that had a couple of slides and a huge lazy river is the brand new Hilton Orlando next to the convention center.
