Water shoes?

Do I need to pack water shoes for Tortolla (not doing Virgin Gorda), st Thomas champagne cruise or sting rays at castaway cay?
We need all the luggage space we can get

Personally, I always take water shoes. The sand/walkways (at Castaway Cay, at least) can be rocky and hot.

Yes. Water shoes as the sand and ocean shore is rather rocky. Mostly small pebbles, rough on the feet though.

The "sand" at Castaway Cay is crushed seashells and coral, not sand.

Crocks make wonderful water shoes, and they float.

I've never taken anything other than flipflops on a Disney cruise. They've worked for every port.

I've always just done flip flops as well, never had a problem.

Some type of water shoe or sandal is nice to have. I like my Keen sandals which I have used in the water, hiking, bicycling, etc.
