In talking with Host_Hula last night, we were told that they are still going thru applications, so not to give up.
We had received our response last week sometime via email. There are people who have received either in game or email and there are still others who've received both.
Having formerly worked for AoL, I can say unequivocally that their spam filters are set on the overly paranoid setting and tend to block most things. It's just easier now-a-days to not use AoL Mail but to set up a gmail or yahoo mail account. At least with gmail and yahoo you can add the vmk email address to your address book and it shouldn't drop it into the spam bucket. AoL spam mail doesn't usually even make it as far as hitting filters.
The conversation with Hula last night was quite refreshing. We don't usually get much insight into 'behind the scenes' but we were reassured that not all is as it seems and they *do* hear our concerns. I'm glad to see that VMK is out 'in the wild' as we call it and can not see it as a bad thing that they are watching.
