What do any one you take with you on rides such as Splash Mountain to keep your cameras dry? I usually try to keep my camera in my pack especially at the end of the ride but I want to make sure that it still accessible for shooting during the ride.

Bring a ziplock baggie and stick it on the camera when you need to. A gallon size bag should be large enough.

I used to use my traditional-for-Disney-trips bucket hat, which did a good job of keeping the water off the camera and I could quickly cover the camera when needed. The bucket hat is good for photography as it doesn't have a bill to get in the way like a baseball cap! (When you're holding the camera up to the eye.) With Splash Mt, it's not like you're constantly getting hit with a firehose of water, there are just a couple spots where you need some protection and only for one or two quick splashes, which should not be a huge problem to protect your gear from.

Nowadays, though, I just mount a weathersealed lens and let 'em get soaked. :) I'm still dreaming of a weathersealed fisheye...

That is one big advantage of the Pentax system!

To be fair, I was still using the Pentax system when covering it with the hat. :) I think that was when shooting with the fisheye, or going way way back to when I was shooting with an *ist DL or K100D. :)

I'm not kidding about the weathersealed fisheye - I'd also want it to have 7 or 9 aperture blades, for nice starbursts - I think all the fisheyes out there except Nikon's and maybe Canon's newish $1,500 one have six blades. Mmm, weathersealed, nine blades... dream dream dream! :goodvibes
