water play areas in mk

we are travelling to wdw in late nov/dec...are the water play areas by donalds boat and ariels grotto open???

I waited all day to see if anyone would respond to this and it's now at 43 people who has looked and passed it by. I would say that the water areas in Toon Town should be open if Disney is keeping the water parks open. Just a thought.

I read somewhere that they are working on Donalds boat, October maybe.

The tiki statues in Adventureland squirt out water (if they are on)

I think that Donald's is the only place in MK where there is a water play area. I just don't remember any other place (we haven't been over to the Tiki birds lately so I don't remember)

My DD went in Donalds specifically to see if she could get wet. After waiting an ample amount of time - no water !?????? We did not go in to Ariel area to check it, was too crowded for me.

We were there in November last year and Donald's boat was definitely on. The kids had fun playing with the water. I think that unless it's closed for rehab, it should be running.

Also, the squirting areas in Epcot were running too. There were plenty of kids with their bathing suits on cooling off.

We have been to MK 6 times and have only seen donalds boat have the water on 1 time and that was in May of this year. The play fountains at Epcot have always been on even in December.
