We are planning to arrive at the main parks for RD. Is it best to do the same for the water parks or would we be fine arriving after lunch for the afternoon?

After arriving early we are planning on leaving the parks after eating lunch to relax by the pool or nap most days - was thinking about a water park one afternoon if we fancied a change of scene from the resort pool.

Thanks for your help.:goodvibes

They quieten down again after the afternoon thunderstorm so if you're going when they close later than 5pm that can be a great time to go. If you turn up much before 3pm at a busy time other than the first hour or two after opening you will suffer long lines. Easy to get around the slides at rope drop. They are big parks though so you have to walk a lot after each slide to get to the top of the next one.

On our last visit, we visited both water parks from "rope drop" and found, as mentioned above, the first hour or two were relatively quiet so we got quite a few rides done, then just lazed about and had some laps of the lazy rivers, lunch then left around 2.30-3.00pm just before the rain appeared!!

It can also depend on when you will be there. During high summer season, the water parks can reach capacity, and sometimes do not let additional visitors enter in the afternoon, at least until the thunderstorm sends some folks home. ;)

Thank you all. It looks like rope drop it is then. :goodvibes

just to confirm what has already been posted - we do both BB and TL at rope drop.
For the first hour or two you can get to the slides pretty easily, after that it's a nightmare.

we always leave both parks by noon when you can see streams of people arriving (why do people come so late?)

the reason we leave by noon is we're done with the slides and lazy river by then. we have no interest in lying in the sun, so we head out.

we do however, sometimes pop over to TL in the late afternoon - about two hours before closing - just to do crush and gusher.
usually the line for it isn't bad at that time, so we'll do about 10 rides or so then head over to the lazy river, which is empty by that time.
laze around in there for a few rounds. Get out, have ice cream and leave about 15 minutes before closing.

Water park is an amusement park that offers the visitors to enjoy with the water slides, splash pads, lazy river, and numerous recreational activities like the bathing, swimming, surfing, bare footing, body boarding such as wave pool or Flow Rider. Its an idle place who seek an entertainment for the whole family and especially for children.

Thanks, I think to be honest we will go with a similar approach. We are not really ones for lying around in the sun either. :goodvibes

Not appropriate for you I think, but for others who might be going at a quieter time of year, we found the water parks ideal for days when we'd been out late the night before (with a 6 yo that means after 10pm :)) and needed a more relaxed start to the day. We weren't interested in the top thrill slides, but it was fine to still find chairs, shady spots, and to do the family rides. Better than it would have been arriving at any of the 4 main parks at 11:30 anyway....
