We will be in WDW from Aug 17-26, and will be doing the water parks for the first time. Are there better days than others to visit the water parks at this time of year?

All day, every day! :rotfl2:

The heat is rough in August.. Any day would be a good day. Even the rainy days are busy at the water parks..

We like Blizzard Beach better.... Just an opinion though.. Have fun!

Just get there really early so you can get a good spot (the last time we were at BB Corbin Bleu was shooting a Disney Channel commercial and getting there early let us get really close to chat with him - DD was over the moon). Also they get so crowded by early afternoon, my daughter usually wants to leave and we've done everything without waiting. Have fun!!!

This question is only indirectly related, but are there shower facilities at Blizzard Beach? We are hoping to go to the water park in the morning of our last day with a 6pm flight. I suspect we will need to check out of the resort before we head to the park and want to know if we can shower and change at the water park. Thanks!

My family and I will be doing a waterpark as well (less than a week to go). My question is that are we allowed to bring a small cooler (drinks, snacks) in the waterparks? I know we can in the 4 theme parks, but I do not know of the waterparks. Any info will be appreciated.

Yes, but no alcohol and no glass bottles.
