Water Parks Offering Meal Vouchers Like AK

Check out this thread from the Restaurant Board. It looks like Disney has extended the "Meal Plus" program to the water parks.

this an an assumption, If you already have a refillable mug from a prior trip, I'm guessing you can buy a new refill sticker that will allow unlimited refills for that day only by scanning the barcode on the new stickere that they will give you when you purchase your voucher.

We did this when we were there last week. It's $15.97 for a refillable mug, meal from any of the places in the park and a soft serve ice cream. They have the coupons where you can get your meal at one time and your ice cream later if you want to. Then you can bring your mug back the next time and have them put a new sticker on it for $6.00. Considering the refillable mug alone is $10.00 I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Can you really bring back a mug from a past trip? I have a couple from a few years back but I am thinking this is not what they intended.

Disney sells the refill stickers so you can indeed bring your water park mugs back from previous trips. In fact, the CM told us that we could take our Blizzard Beach mug to Typhoon Lagoon and just purchase the sticker there. We didn't have to buy a new mug.

I don't know about previous years - but I know I can with the one I bought last week because I specifically asked! The sign said "Second Day $6.00" so I asked if I had to actually bring it in the second chronological day. The CM told me no - it was anytime. But you do have to buy a sticker for $6.00 - it's not like I'm bringing my mug in and getting another full day of refills for free. I would think you COULD bring a previous years' - you just have to buy the sticker.
