Is it to cold to do the water parks in November... specifically Thanksgiving week?

Yes and no.

We have been twice Thankgiving week and it was definitely too cold to go to the one water park (check the Disney website to see what is closed then) that is open. That was 2005 and 2002.

Our good friends who went in 2003 spent an entire day at a water park. They had weather that was nice and warm and didn't even start the day with sweatshirts! It got down to the 40's one night at MK when we stayed to watch Spectromagic last November.

It just depends on how you hit the weather. Keep in mind we are hearty New Englanders who swam at the pool each vacation despite the cool temps. In fact, we swam on a day that was rainy and the life guards were all bundled up! Everyone at the pool had a t-shirt that somehow indicated they were all northeasterners. It gave us a chuckle!

It's a great time to go. Have fun! :goodvibes

I agree with pennyplanner about the weather. A couple of years ago we went in December and started the week out in coats and pants, it was good and cold for Florida( we are northeners also so it was close to 0 when we left home so not over reacting to the cold) and finished the week in shorts and an entire day at the waterpark. I think you will just have to play it by ear and be flexible with your days.
