Water parks in early April

we just booked a week at WDW beginning April 1... got the WP option but I'm wondering if it will be warm enough then to really enjoy the waterparks. Any experience with visiting the waterparks during the beginning of April? Thanks!

You should be fine. Unless something out of the ordinary happens then April will be seeing highs in the 80's and sometimes even low 90's. If it gets cold over winter, it's starting to warm back up early in march

That is usually when we go every year. Always do the water parks. We are from the Northeast. We think it's definitely warm enough to swim. Two year ago, the temperature at the airport when we left was 12 degrees. When we arrived in Orlando it was a "chilly" 65 degrees. What a shock! It warmed up considerably after that.

We were at WDW for Easter a couple of years ago when Easter fell on April 5th. We didn't do water parks, but we did swim every day. There was one late afternoon/evening we were a little chilly getting out of the pool with the breeze, but that was it.

I've been there for the record high temperature days in both March and April (lucky me...), both times in the 90's. Just remember if you go that you are white as a ghost in March and April, so don't miss any spots with your sunscreen!!! DD learned this the hard way.....ow
