Water Parks in December/January

Are BB and TL open in December/January? And, if so, is it likely to be warm enough to go?

We come from Michigan where it is fairly cold in December/January.
So we have found many days in early to mid December where it is not too cold to go to BB(the only one open when we have been). The last 2 years we have went in mid January and yes, it has been a bit too cold for us to go.
Just be flexible on the day you want to go and take advantage of nice weather as it might not be that warm every day.
It really depends on what you are used to. It seems those of us from colder climates think it's okay to visit when the temps are cooler than those from a warmer climate.

agree with above poster...my children have gone to the pools in early Dec. when we have gone in early Jan i think it would be cold for a water park but the temp is very changeable. at least one park is open so if you want to go, try to have a flexible schedule and go the first day you think it is warm enough as you may not get another! but don't have your heart set on it as it may not come about

Ditto to all of the above; I've lived in Fla and Dec/Jan weather can range from snowflakes to the mid-80s. We went two years ago in Jan and there were some days that were freezing and one day that was definitely BB weather.

In the past few years, the refurbishment schedule has been that Blizzard closed 1st from November to mid to late December, then Typhoon closed until the end of February, so it will depend on when you are there.

Personally, after about November I take a hiatus from the waterparks until about March. For me it is too cold if the temps dip much below 82 degrees... but I have always had "thin blood", so I fit right in here if Florida! For those from Europe or further north, the waterparks will likely be "just right"!
