How was the water temp and air temp? I realize the pools are somewhat heated but then again when I get out of it...will I be freezing?? !!
We are trying to decide if it is worth it or spend a day at downtown disney instead...of course, you know what the kids are thinking.....thanks so much!!

Bumping as I'll be there in April and would also like to know... :Pinkbounc

As long as it is above 80 you'll be fine(of course I'm a midwesterner). By late April it should be plenty hot. We've enjoyed the water parks in April and March.

We've done the waterparks in April, plenty warm. We are planning to do at least 1 if not both on our upcoming April trip.

OK, I do realize that with snow pounding us daily it is hard to consider anything colder! We went in April 2003 and swam and swam! Of course, we went in Dec. of 2004 and swam and swam! April when we went was HOT. I don't think you would have any problem swimming then. We did find that Typhoon Lagoon seemed warmer than Blizzard Beach. I'm not really sure if it is just because it looks warmer - but the water actually seemed colder in the BB park. We are planning to visit TL when we go this April. Kids want to see the new water slides!

everytime I go its in April and its in the 80's and low 90's. We always do the water parks.

We have only been in April, MA school vaca. It has always be hot to us. Go to water park ea time. Prob do TL for new slides this time. Bring a suit and some water shoes. Have fun fun fun

We did BB in April 03....it was cloudy and little chilly in the am--around how 70's--we were practically the only ones there. Too cold for me and DH first thing--but the kids were oblivious. After only 1 1/2 hours, the sun came out, it was plenty warm and we stayed almost the whole day. The park never filled up----we walked onto every slide, raft, whatever all day without waiting. The moral of the story--watch the weatherman. If he says its going to clear up early on, pick that as your water park day. :umbrella:

I'm from Texas and a sissy when it comes to water and cold (cool) weather. I'm used to HOT temps when near a pool. We went to BB last March, free tickets. We almost didn't go to the water park (even though the tickets were free), really cool morning, but we put on our suits and headed that direction for a "short visit", just to check it out. The bus was empty going there, the park was empty. BUT, when we got there it was warm. The tall slides protect from the wind, so it was really comfortable and warm while there. We stayed all day and had a blast! I guess everyone else decided it was too cold to go. We actually had chill bumps while arriving and were laughing that we even attempted it. Glad we did!

We go the last week of April every year, and believe me, it it HOT.

It totally depends on weather temp! We were there last year during the last 2 weeks of April and it was cold. The weather was warm- in the low 80's but the water was frigid at Typhoon Lagoon. Even at our hotel POR- the only pool you could really swim is was the main one that was heated. The individual pools were frigid- no one was using them. We love to swim so losing that advantage was a vacation loss but on the flip side we had more time in the Parks since the heat wasn't so oppressive.
just thoughts :sunny:
