Okay, I'm sure this is a silly question but my boys are really wanting to go to some of the water parks.
I can swim and could cope with a couple of slides but once back on dry land I need either my cruches or a wheelchair to get around. I can hop so far but not too far.
If I get to the top of a slide how do they get the chair or the crutches to the bottom for me? Or do I just have to sit on the sidelines?

Thanks
J

DS(19) has the same problem, uses a manual w/c , can walk only a short distance. There was one slide at TL (sorry don't remember the name) that had 3 different slides, 2 and 3 person, it had an elevator and I took DS up but then had to have one of the other kids in our group take the chair back down and wait for us to slide. at least we were able to do this slide several times. the lazy river had at least 1 HC entrance where you could leave your chair. all the other slides had extensive stairs leading to them, and I don't think you would be able to slide down with your crutches, you would have to send someone back down with them on the stairs. At BB there was a "ski lift" to the top of a slide, but you have to leave your chair at the bottom, the exit of the slide was a ways away so again had to send someone to go get the chair. there are w/c entrances for the river here too. The paths at both parks were easy enough to use with a chair or crutches. at TL DS was also able to do the snorkeling which he loved and was able to use a life vest and a CM swam next to him the whole time. We found TL to at least have a few things DS could do. BB was not much fun, he spent most of the day in the river and sitting in the shallow area of the kids play area. BTW, both parks are larger than they seem on the map, I suggest a w/c for the day. hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your reply. That is just the sort info I was hoping for.
TL is closed while we are there so it will be BB that I will be trying to fight my way around.
Thank you!
