My DB is not a strong swimmer so we’ve taken to using a life vest for him anytime we go into a pool or go to our local water parks. He has his own vest which we’ll be bringing with us, which has a zipper and buckles to secure it in place. My question is, will he have to get a different vest due to the no metal rule? Will they supply vests he can wear for the day? He’s wearing a large adult vest currently.

The water parks have vests by the wave pool that you can use for free.

Never trust anything from the mom's panel.

You will not be permitted to use your own flotation devices.

We have definitely used our own floatation devices (puddle jumpers) at the pools and at Blizzard Beach. My experience is that if it’s coast guard approved, they’ll allow it but YMMV.

We have used puddle jumpers at both water parks and all pools we have been to at wdw. Used on Slides and wave pools and nobody has ever asked us to take them off. But they only have plastic clasps and no metal.

Ok, thanks, everyone. At least that’s one less thing we’ll have to carry around, especially as it takes a while for it to dry!
