Water parks and AP discount

Good morning,
Can anyone explain or clarify when I go purchase water park tickets for August 2021 it says blackout dates and then non-blackout dates....very confused. Thank you!

If you are signed in as an AP, you will see the discount ticket price, no blackout dates.

Without the AP discount, there are two pricing options. That line is just not removed when seeing the AP option.

I edited my response when I realized that is what you are asking.

You can ignore that line. It applies to regular tickets (not AP discount). There are two prices for those, depending on whether they need to go during the blackout days or not. Doesn't apply to AP tickets, but they don't remove that line.

The way I read it is, as a Passholder you can purchase a ticket without a blackout date if the dates are outside the blackout date. So ultimately, if you booked a ticket on a black out date you are not receiving the discount. I could be wrong but that's how it reads to me.

The blackout dates listed above are May 29th to October 3rd. If you purchase the ticket for June 3rd, you pay the regular price.

Someone will jump in if that's not correct.

Nope, there are no blackout dates for the AP ticket. That line only pertains to the non-AP tickets, as in the screenshot below. They just don't get rid of the line when showing AP pricing.
