Water Park ????

I will be going with my sister and her granddaughter. I have been to Disney many times, it will be their first time going. Granddaughter will be turning 9 on Thursday August 4, plan on going to Magic Kingdom on this day.

We are flying in Monday August 1 and leaving Sunday August 7. No parks on these days due to flight times.

We have 4 day tickets (one park per day) and 1 water park ticket (free ticket from agent) with dining plan.

Would you go 4 straight days to the parks then the water park on Saturday? or

Would you go to the water park during the week?

Would you bring your own beach towel from home for the one day or use the resort towel? Usually I have used the resort towel for the resort pools.

Hi! Sounds like a fun trip! I would probably do the water park in the middle of the trip and then book the Hoop de Doo or a fun resort restaurant for that evening. As far as towels, sometimes it is fun to buy a towel from that water park as a souvenir, they do have them available to rent as well. Have fun!

I would not do the water park on Saturday as there are more locals on the weekends.

You can rent towels. I think they are $2 each. Much easier. I would do the following: look up your dates on easywdw's crowd calendar. Figure out the best 4 days to go to the main parks of your choice. Add the water parks accordingly on a day that works. But keep in mind, you may need to adjust bc of weather. So have a backup plan. We usually spend about 5 hrs at a water park and we are good. I personally like relaxing some days/mornings/afternoons throughout our trip.
