Water Park Transportation

Hi all! I am planning on visiting the water parks for the first time next month. We are staying at POP and are planning on visiting Downtown Disney directly after the water park closes.

My understanding is that the water park buses are shared with Downtown Disney after 2 pm... So on the way TO the park, the bus will make a stop at Downtown Disney. But what about on the way back? Do the buses make a stop at Downtown Disney too? It would make hopping over there much easier, instead of having to go all the way back to the hotel and changing buses.

What is the easiest way to go from Typhoon or Blizzard to Downtown Disney?

I'm not sure about the water parks/DTD buses, but if there isn't one, you could take a bus to one of the DTD resorts and then walk or boat over to DTD.

I can never remember for sure, but I don't think they go to DTD. I recommend asking on the transportation board. There are bus drivers over there who would be able to say for sure.

I've seen it vary based on resort and if anyone was actually going to the water parks. (driver nicely asking). I'm 99% sure there is a DTD bus directly from the water park and you don't need to worry about this. Plan b is just go through a resort and saratoga springs is walking distance to DTD but not a small resort and I don't remember how far from the bus stops to DTD really is. Port orleans should be the next closest resort and if you never took it, the boat option to DTD is a nice ride and something a little different.

If there is no DTD bus you can take the SSR bus and get off at the congress park stop and walk -it is a 5-10 min walk to DTD from there depending on how fast you walk

I know there is normally a bus from TL to DTD, but it is definitely not running right now. As of right now, TL bus only goes to Epcot after 2:00. I have no idea how long that is supposed to last.
