Water park strategies?

So I wasn't planning on doing a water park originally but the kids saw a video blog on blizzard beach and really want to go now. I can fit it in on one of the days we'll be there but only from 10:30am-2pm (ish). It will be September. Will this be enough time to accomplish the rides there? [kids aren't tall enough for plummet summit or double dipper, so minus two rides] And are there any ride order strategies for this park?

Summit plum it and double dippers were the longest wait times when we were there last weekend. We got there about 1030 and left about 4/430. But we had done most everything by 230. We spent the last two hours riding the last rides we wanted to ride again.

We get there at 10 and leave at 3. We usually hit everything and have time to chill (and have ice cream).

The ski lift can get a little backed up too, but you can always walk up the hill. We usually ride anything on the green slope first. Then I would hit the purple slope if you want to do Downhill Double Dipper. Otherwise, you can hit the rest of the slides in any order.

ETA: Just re-read and saw that your kids are too short for Downhill Double Dipper. We usually hit the red slides after we do Team boat Spring a couple of times, then do the purple ones. After that we split our time between Melt-away Bay, the lazy river, and the ski patrol area.

Given the timeframe of your visit, you should have plenty of time to do everything that you want and then some. Personally, I think that the water parks are best left without a set strategy. Youre better off exploring and doing what looks like the most fun at any given time!

We went to Typhoon Lagoon last week. We got there at 10:30 and were on our way back to the resort by 1pm. We did every slide and all three Crushin Gusher slides, went around the lazy river 3 times, got knocked around in the wave pool and sat around to eat a pretzel. I was surprised at how small the place was. Not sure how much bigger BB is, but we may go in September.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I will go ahead with the plan to go to Blizzard Beach!
