Water Park Slides?

Our family just went to a water park near home this past week, and I discovered that my DD11 is frightened of the tube-like enclosed water slides. Now I am of course wondering how this is going to affect our trip to a Disney water park in Sept? Are the slides at BB or TL this enclosed tube type, or the more open U-shaped ones? Also, are their height restrictions on the slides?

I know that there are other things for her to do besides the slides, but would love to have a heads up on the type we will encounter, especially if one park has more of the "acceptable DD-approved" kind.

They have some in tubes and some that aren't. For instance I don't think the toboggan at BB goes into any tunnels. Nor do most of the innertube rides, or if tube rides go into tubes, they are usually just quick tunnels and nothing adventurous.

There is only one slide that goes into a tube and it is the middle one of 3 slides on Runoff rapids at BB. Parts of the storm slides at TL also go enclosed, but only small sections, there is not one that is enclosed all the way.

Quite a few of the slides at TL were all open - I think your DD would be fine on them. The storm sliders has 3 openings and the one to the far right had only a very small tube section...nothing like a completely enclosed slide. I haven't been to BB in a while but there are a lot of things at TL that I'm sure she would enjoy. The wave pool is great, the lazy river. We love the theme of TL and it offered a little shade during our recent July visit. I hope you enjoy your trip.
