Water Park Restrictions

My husband and I are on the larger size (not head) and what to hear from people who go to the water parks. My 8 year old daughter wants to try out one of the water parks, but I wonder if we would be able to do more than sit and watch her.

I have never been to any water park and would like to try the slides and such, but have a fear that I will be on the news for getting stuck.

Just want to know what to expect.

You will not get stuck on the water slides. No matter what size, the water parks are a great place. I too am a "pooh sized" gal. There are so many people of different shapes and sizes at the WDW waterparks. You'll fit right in. I did many of the slides w/ my DS. We had a blast. I thought I was going to feel self conscience, but I didn't!!!

Sure, you can sit and watch her if you would like, but you will miss a lot of fun. There are many things to do at the water parks for Piglet sized guests right up to Pooh sized guests. Don't feel like you have to sit by and watch. Jump in and have fun! We do!!!!

I think wdwig.com has a section on WDW for larger guests... you might see if it addressed the water parks!

At the WDW waterparks, no matter what size you are, there is always someone bigger! Someone who looks worse that I think I do. If you like waterslides, and wavepools, the WDW are great places. Beware, there is a lot of walking, and carrying of inner tubes, so you should try to get in shape, or you will be only watching because you can't go on.
