We normally go at the start of November, but decided to go start of October this time instead as I'd never done TL (even though I really wanted to) as it was always under refurb. The down side was that by going earlier, we'd miss the Food & Wine festival (leaving on the day it starts).

Now we find out that if we'd have gone at our usual time, that it would have been open after all as it was BB that was shutting first!

Ah well, too late to do anything about it now.

Anyone got any idea how long the rehab periods are likely to be??
BB was closed during our last visit(feb/march) and my kids have set their hearts on going during our next hol (dec13/27)

Unlikely - sounds like BB is out Nov & Dec, then reopening Jan.
