Another Water Park question as I try to decide if we should one, both or neither. My 2 girls (10 and 6) want to swim with the Sharks at TL. But I think the "preteen" area at BB would be the most fun for both of them.
DD10 likes the water slides--not the huge ones like Crush'n Gusher or Summit Plummit, but most of the other ones. DD 6 doesn't really like the big slides. She will do some if they aren't too fast or intense. She absolutely hates enclosed slides, and huge drops. As a reference she loves Kali River Rapids, but hates Splash Mountain! The pictures of the ones in that preteen area at BB look perfect for her. I am not a water slide fan, but will do them for my kids. I get sick easy so don't like the ones that twist and turn really fast, or have huge drops. ( I do love Splash Mountain, but only once per trip!)
They love the wave pool and the lazy river and just playing in the water, fountains etc... I having trouble telling from the discriptions and photos on the DIS and at Allears if some of the slides and raft rides are tame enough for all of us (like Gankplank and Keelhaul falls at TL, Runoff Rapids-not the enclosed one-at BB)
Wil there be enough at the water parks to keep them both happy and make it worth the day or two of our Water Parks and More passes left from our last trip? Should could hold on to them for a few more years until the 6yr old is able to do more? We don't plan to spend the entire day at the Water park--probaby just about 4 hours one or 2 afternoons.
I just don't want to waste the day on passes to go in and find out there isn't enough for all of us to enjoy together (we won't be splitting up).
Can anyone give me more information about some of the slide? Maybe point me to another Disney site with better descriptions/scare factor information??
