Water Park Questions--tame slides?

Another Water Park question as I try to decide if we should one, both or neither. My 2 girls (10 and 6) want to swim with the Sharks at TL. But I think the "preteen" area at BB would be the most fun for both of them.

DD10 likes the water slides--not the huge ones like Crush'n Gusher or Summit Plummit, but most of the other ones. DD 6 doesn't really like the big slides. She will do some if they aren't too fast or intense. She absolutely hates enclosed slides, and huge drops. As a reference she loves Kali River Rapids, but hates Splash Mountain! The pictures of the ones in that preteen area at BB look perfect for her. I am not a water slide fan, but will do them for my kids. I get sick easy so don't like the ones that twist and turn really fast, or have huge drops. ( I do love Splash Mountain, but only once per trip!)

They love the wave pool and the lazy river and just playing in the water, fountains etc... I having trouble telling from the discriptions and photos on the DIS and at Allears if some of the slides and raft rides are tame enough for all of us (like Gankplank and Keelhaul falls at TL, Runoff Rapids-not the enclosed one-at BB)

Wil there be enough at the water parks to keep them both happy and make it worth the day or two of our Water Parks and More passes left from our last trip? Should could hold on to them for a few more years until the 6yr old is able to do more? We don't plan to spend the entire day at the Water park--probaby just about 4 hours one or 2 afternoons.

I just don't want to waste the day on passes to go in and find out there isn't enough for all of us to enjoy together (we won't be splitting up).

Can anyone give me more information about some of the slide? Maybe point me to another Disney site with better descriptions/scare factor information??

We went to BB on Tuesday and it was so packed- we got there at 8 adn rode most slides but by 10 there were waits for all slides- i asked what capacity was and the girl said 8,000 but they let another 2,000 in- we ahd funa nd all but it's so crowded- not sure Id do it again- it was so hot we stayed in wave pool most of time!! Boys went and played putt putt too!!

We did TL on Tuesday with my dd (9) and ds (5). The family raft ride was a big hit with us. We waited about 25 min for that one. Dd and dh did all the storm slides together while ds and I hung out in the kids area. Dd loved the storm slides and did them several times. All ds (who doesn't really swim yet) and I did was the kids area, the family raft ride, the lazy river (loved that!! It got crowded though), and walked the edge of the wave pool (too strong for the kids, had to hold onto ds tightly and dh held dd when they went further out and they both got knocked over). We went to TL because I liked the themeing better and dd couldn't wait to snorkle with the sharks (she and dh loved that) but the older kids area at BB would probably have been better for dd. TL kids area was perfect for ds. The next time we go, we'll probably try BB so that dd can try out that kids area and I've heard that the wave pool at BB is much more kid friendly. I really liked TL though and we had a really nice day there. Which ever one you choose, get there when it opens and/or take advantage of EMH. It was nice when we first got there but got really crowded by lunch time. By the time we got into the lazy river, it was almost wall to wall tubes and you had to wait at one of the entrances for someone to give up a tube and we needed 4 tubes. LOL We made two trips around the park in the river though and really enjoyed it. We were glad we decided to try one of the water parks this time.
