Water Park Question?

I have a seven year old DD who is an excellent swimmer but may be too young for the slides. Which Disney water park would you recommend?

Definately Blizzard Beach. They have a "training area" that is especially designed for those who are too old for the kiddie section and not quite old enough for the big hills. I thought this area was very creative and fun. Our very brave almost 6 year old girl adored this area and could have spent the whole day here. You will have a great time!

Hi! Our DD's loved TL at 7 and 9 but really loved BB at 9 and 11. At 7, my youngest DD who could definitely be called a ride chicken, but who will usually try things rode every slide at TL. Both parks are super fun for everyone! Have fun!

Even though BB has the "training area" I would recommend TL. It has the huge wave pool, family ride and swimming with sharks.

I think it's really an even split between the 2. BB does have the training area-- but the rest of the park is a bit more "thrills". TL, overall, is more laid back. So, I think she'll have an equal amount to do at either.

If she's never been to a waterpark-- it may be a good idea to get "her feet wet" at a small local one first. Then she'll know what to expect and she'll be able to decide if the slides are for her.

my seven year old went on Summit plummet with me and he had a blast. Your kid will be fine as long as they are tall enough.

My DD was also 7 when she went on everything short of Summet Plummet. I think if you want lots of slides and variety go to BB. If you want an awesome wave pool and shark reef, plus the new water roller coaster, go to TL. We personally could spend an entire afternoon in the wave pool at TL, our fav, but we love the slides at BB too, so we always make time for both.
