Water Park Question

WE have just booked a stay in early March and are planning on doing the free water park visit on our check in day. Which of the two water parks is usually open during the first week of March? Do you have to go to your resort room first or can you just go there? Any hep or tips would be appreciated.

Going on the past years, my guess would be Blizzard Beach in early March. Would think you could just go straight to Water Park because your MDE have your hotel information.

You get free towels from the waterpark if you are staying onsite. Just go to the towels rental place and let them know you are onsite. Bring a mug/tumbler. You can buy the waterpark only refillable mug but you can still get water if you have your own mug. Try the mini donuts.
