the park hopper with waterparks means you can go to as many parks and water parks you want in those 5 days. if you don't get park hopper you can only to go 1 park each day

But you can go to a water park and big park in same day, even without the hoppers, it will just remove a water park and big park off your ticket.
Without the hopper option, you can't go to 2 different big parks in same day, even if you wanted them to remove "2 days" worth off a multiday ticket.

You can always add water park, hopper, no exp, or increase # of days while at the parks within 14 days of 1st use, but once purchased you can't remove it for refund. So if you're not sure about weather, it's good to wait and see if you'll def do water parks and upgrade that option at Guest Services.:goodvibes

The bolded part is actually not correct. You get a certain number of Waterparks and More uses on the ticket. On a 5 Day MYW ticket you get 5 Water Park visits. There are 2 Water Parks at WDW-- Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. You may go to which over you want a total of 5 times-- not as many times as you want in 5 days. So if you went to both water parks on one day then you only have 3 water park visits left. And keep in mind that this ticket also includes admission to the Wide World of Sports and a round of golf at Oak Trail. Again each use at any of these locations takes one use out of your 5 available off of ticket.

But with the 5 day park hopper you can go to as many of the main parks as many times as you want each day. You can go to Magic Kingdom in the morning, go to Hollywood Studios for lunch, catch the parade at Animal Kingdom and then end the day at Epcot to see Illuminations. If you don't have the hopper option you can only go to one of those parks per day.

But you can go to a park and a water park in the same day, no problem. If you think you want to do that most of the days then you probably won't want the Hopper option also. Going to a Theme Park and also a water park is a lot to do in one day.

This is a great tip! I've had clients get the water park option, and then never use it. They were out $50/person. If you are unsure, then definitely wait until you decide to go the water park, and add it at WDW!
