I'm not sure how many people have heard about these yet, but the water parks have meal vouchers now. The DBf and I were at Typhoon Lagoon yesterday and we think they were a great deal!

I read about it somewhere on the boards here the other day. I went up to guest services because I had left my AP at home, and asked about the vouchers there. You can buy them with the mug (mug, entree, ice cream), or with just the sticker (sticker, entree, ice cream). With the mug it's approximately 17 dollars, with just a refill sticker it's approximately 11 dollars (we were charged $10.76 even though the voucher said $11.72). They also have a children's voucher for approximately 10 dollars. I'm not sure where else they can be purchased, but there were signs all around the entrance. Apparently Blizzard Beach is doing this as well.

We used it at Typhoon Tilly's for the entree, the first mug stand from the entrance for the sticker, and the ice cream shop next to Leaning Palms for the ice cream. I know you can use the vouchers at least also at Leaning Palms and the corresponding ice cream shop next to it. A CM told us we could also use the voucher for an ice cream novelty, but we definitely wanted a waffle cone instead. :)

I would assume at Blizzard Beach they can be used at Lottawatta Lodge among other places. I don't think I can drag DBf back there to check it out with his blistery feet, though. :)

We thought they were a good deal as we had planned on purchasing the refill sticker anyway, so it was $4.75 approximately for the meal and the ice cream. We bought one other meal and shared the refill sticker and the ice cream.

Wow, that sounds like a great deal! We'll be going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time in June, and we'll definitely take advantage of this deal.

Thanks for telling us about it!!

Regarding disneyfan511's comment about lugging in snacks (in the Animal Kingdom vouchers thread), that's why we think they're trying it at the water parks. We notice a lot of people bringing in coolers, and if you're planning on getting a mug or refill sticker, it makes the food so darn cheap. The sticker is usually six, so it made the entree and ice cream ($7.39 and $3.59 respectively) approximately five dollars total. And you can always do what DBf and I did, get one voucher and split the refill mug and ice cream.

I'm just a little confused... Can I take my resort mug from Pop Century to TL, and then be able to buy the "sticker voucher set"? Or, would I have to have the mug from TL? It sounds like a great deal!

I wonder what comes with the children's voucher?

Thanks for the info! ::yes::

I'm 99% sure that you can bring in your resort mug, I've seen other people asking that here with a positive response.

And I think the kids' vouchers are the same as the adults': one entree, one mug (or refill sticker), and one ice cream. We'll be going to either TL or BB the weekend of the 24th, so I'll check it out then and post back.

WE have several resort musg and were not allowed to get a sticker for them at BB. We had to buy a mug from there that was good there or TL. So we know have about 6 mugs at our house. Will take resort mugs a nd water park mug with us in May.

They only let you use waterpark mugs for the sticker. The same mug can be used at either park (The BB is much cuter than TL in my opinion)

I was thinking about it, and I had actually seen someone with a resort mug with a water park refill sticker on it last weekend. I wonder if it's up to the CM selling the stickers?

I wish we could take advantage of it, but.....we'll be at the water parks with 7 kids and 6 adults..........even with the great price, we'll save TONS of money bringing our own lunches and snacks (sigh)

Can you clarify?

for $17 you get unlimited soda throughout the day, an entree and an ice cream? Isn't that a little expensive?

Buzz the $17 includes the souvineer mug which sells for $12 seperately.

Update!

We went to Blizzard Beach today and asked to purchase the vouchers. They were all out! It's in the testing stages apparently and they sold out sometime last week, I believe. They said they should have more in soon. The CM I talked to said "by the next time you come back," to which we said, "next weekend?" and he said, "er, no, not that soon!"

So I also couldn't find out exact prices, or which items the childrens' vouchers came with. I will keep checking, though.

It's not terribly recent, but they had them in May. We're tentatively planning on some water park time next weekend or next month, and will check it out then.

We were at Blizzard Beach June 9th and I looked for the vouchers. When I couldn't find them I asked a cashier at Lotta. Lodge and he said that was a trial thing and they aren't doing it anymore. :(

Oh, darn :( They were such a great deal. We'll probably do TL and ask there.
