It is a must to arrive at opening? I read it gets packed but how packed? Can I expect to wait in long lines to use a slide or just no chairs free and lots of people in wave pool?
Starting to second guess going but we only have one:eek: park day this trip so thought adding WP&M was a good option. Is it even worth it in mid June? Kids will love it but I would be fine doing something else.

We went to the water parks last June. It was during the first 2 weeks. We arrived at opening. It wasn't crowded at all for the first 2-3 hours. We basically walked right on all the slides we wanted to ride. The crowds got heavier closer to lunch time. I don't think you will have a problem finding a spot but if you want shade you should arrive early. Keep in mind that it rains ALOT in June. So a shady spot is also going to be a dry spot to wait out a rain storm. Have fun whatever you decide.

If you're going during a weekend when school's out it will probably be busy. I've seen them reach capacity. TL is so much fun even for adults and even when busy very stress free.

The advantage of being there early is minimal waits on the slides.

Thanks. Yikes, park filled to capacity. School will be out I am so torn if we should bother :scratchin DH and I, the adults, are not really into water parks. I went to typhoon lagoon once. I love lazy river to relax but hate that they spray you as you lounge(water in the face, usually cold lol. YUK!) Its for he kids.
