Water park for teens?

Which water park is best for boys ages 13 and 15?

My kids, ages 10 & 12, (the oldest is a boy), enjoyed both Blizzard Beach and Aquatica. Both have thrill slides and mat racers (which my son, in particular, loves). Both agree that Aquatica edges out Blizzard Beach slides overall. Blizzard Beach has better theming and their big thrill slide "summit plumet" is really great, but overall, the slides at Aquatica are the favorites for my kids. So it depends on what your teens are looking for. We also love Aquatica's "not so lazy" lazy river.

We have never been to Typhoon Lagoon or Wet n Wild so I cannot speak for those.

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are your best choices.

My teens love thrill rides mostly. My youngest son will most likely be in a splint at the time recovering from a broken wrist. Hope he doesn't get turned away on the slides.

Your boys will LOVE Roa's Rapids. The fun factor of Roa's beats any other water park lazy river by a mile. It is tubeless and has a crazy current that will literally sweep you away.

Another bonus for Aquatica: their all-day dining at the Banana Beach Buffet is fantastic for teen boy appetites. Pay one price and them them eat and drink all day long, as much and as often as they want. You can check out all the information on the buffet here:

Cabana rentals are also very affordable at Aquatica versus the Disney waterparks. I don't know which part of August your are travelling in, but if its the last week, you can snag a cabana for $119 on a weekday (verus the $325+ for the Disney water park cabanas). The Aquatica cabanas also include a large locker (which is located right in your cabana), your own fridge, 12 bottles of Dasani water, and towel rentals too.
