It's been so long since we visited the water parks.

I can't remember what do you do with your stuff? I'm trying to bring as little as possible but for instance your keys. Do you rent a locker and then hang on to the locker key?

Also do you wear shoes or do most people go barefoot?

What about towels? Bring them from the hotel?

Thanks for the advice.

We brought our towels from our hotel, and only our room key. Nothing else.

We were barefoot, and the concrete never hurt our feet.

We left our towels and shoes on a chair, which served as our meeting spot.

Hope this helps,

Yes, do rent a locker for your valuables, i.e. park tickets, keys, wallet, and anything else that you would be sad to lose. The nice thing, is that if you want to leave some things at a chair, no one seems to bother it. We left our towels, shoes, a small cooler with snacks and drinks, and our tee shirts at the chairs. Some people wore their flip flops or water shoes around the park, I didn't find it to be necessary. I guess they would take off their flip flops and hold them when they were on the slides. We rented towels from the water park, I think it cost $1 per towel. That way we didn't have to carry them to and from. It took about 5 minutes to get the towels. I would recommend arriving right at opening. The lines got pretty long after the park was open for a couple of hours. My kids loved the water parks so much, that they wanted to go back on our last day, which was the day we had set aside to finish up anything that we had missed.

Have a great trip!

We pretty much always get lockers to put our important stuff into. I don't bring much with us but as you say, you need somewhere to put your keyes etc.
We usually wear Flip-Flops or some kind of sandals because the sidewalk and sand can be really HOT! I wore Tennis shoes once and what a pain that was! So, I have learned my lesson the hard way. Oh I forgot, Water Shoes are really great too! Especially at the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon because of that doggone concrete bottom, they keep your feet from getting scraped up! I wish I could find something big enough for the whole body! he he! :rotfl2: I end up with more bruises and scrapes! :confused3 Anyway, Have a great time! Helen
