Can You Take Water On The Plane Now ?

Yes, you can't take any through security, but you are free to purchase some in the duty free shopping area and then carry that on board

You're still limited to 3 oz / medical use through security, but once you're through security you can purchase water in one of the concourse shops.

Make sure you keep your reciept.We bought our water from the duty free shops after security, didnt keep reciept and even though they were sealed we had to throw them away.

I have been thinking about this water security.
I always think I'm going to get hauled over at the airport - I have no idea why and we wouldn't give them any reason why.
I do however always beep when going through those darn security door ways - anyone else? lol

No, I don't think they will alow you to do that!

We have just arrived home this morning. You are only allowed to take 100ml through security and that has to be in a plastic bag but once you are through you can take as much on the plane as you want. We bought about 5 bottles and had no problem and was never asked to show a receipt.One thing that i did notice was that manchester were very strict about the size of your hand luggage,i only had a small handbag and that was classed as my carry on. Coming back from Orlando it was completely different, there were people with wheelie cases, large stuffed toys etc and no problem.
