I would greatly appreciate information as to where I can rent water mice/ wave runners in WDW. I suppose it can be done in one of the Epcot resorts (Yacht Club) or in one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts (Wilderness Lodge) but exactly where?

Also, anybody knos about the rates?

Thanks a lot.

We rented water mice from the Contemporary & Grand Floridian this past August. It was easier to find the marina at the Contemporary than at the Grand Floridian - but just ask anyone who works there & they'll be happy to help.

My son thought the boats at the GF were faster - I couldn't tell the difference. It was $58.00 for both of us for 45 minutes.

Have fun - that was one of the highlights of our trip!!

When I've rented in the past I went to the marina, they had them tied up next to the dock.

I think you can also rent them at DTD. About 6 months ago it was $20.00 for a half hour.

WL rents them, the marina is behind the lodge on Bay Lake. 30.00 1/2 hour.

My personal opinion is that the MK resorts are the best place to rent because there is such a large area to go, between the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.

Will I be allowed into one one of the MK resorts to rent a water mouse? I will be staying at the BWV.

Sounds like fun. I will definitely do it.

Definitely. You can drive and self park or valet OR if you don't have a car, you can take the bus over to MK and ride the monorail to the resort you want to rent at.

We stayed at the All Star Music Resort in August and went over to the Grand Floridian Resort one afternoon and rented the water mice there. We had a great time and really enjoyed it. We had been at the Magic Kingdom that morning and just rode the monorail over to the Grand Floridian. This ended up being one of our favorite things we did on our trip. Have fun!

I was told by one of the Marina Workers a couple of years ago that the mice on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake are a higher horsepower and go a bit faster than the DD mice. We always do those. Hope you have a great time..they are VERY addicting!

My DH and DS(14) rented them in July and had a blast. The price was $30 each for one hour.
