Water mice & unlimited plan...

Has anyone used the unlimited plan for the water mice/boats?

I understand the unlimited plan is good for up to 5 guests for the length of stay. According to Mousesavers the plan runs 245.54 for length of stay.

When it says 5 people, does that mean 5 "boat captains"?, or does it mean only 5 people from your party can access the boats.

What I want to know is, if I get the plan, can we get 5 boats at one time, and have the children ride with us too? Our party is 8, but only 4 of us would actually want to drive the boats. Also, the pontoon and canopy boats would hold several people plus the kids.

If no one has had experience with this, I'll call WDW recreation and ask, but getting through to someone who knows what's going on can be a pain.

I might be wrong, but I don't think passengers count. A few years ago my husband, son, daughter and I got the unlimited plan while we were at the Contemporary -- all 4 of us took out our own boats.

This is a great savings, btw.

I was not sure if my son and daughter counted, as they are 5 and 7, and therefore cannot take out their own boats. I probably need to call WD to clarify.

Two years ago, we had the platinum plan -- which is similar to the new one, we each got our own water mice, on three seperate days. I am sure it is similar still.
