Water Mice - do you need to make a reservation?

This is our first WL stay, and we'd like to rent water mice on a down day - do you make reservations early for these? Or just walk up and wait? Any other info you can pass on regarding them?

Just walk up and wait. The pontoon boats are fewer and require a reservation.

They are now called Sea Raycers. I've only rented one once, as a walkup at the Wilderness Lodge. No problems.

There were a lot of these at CR. We just walked up for one. Then again, we were there in Feb. with lesser crowd levels.

I rent the from the GF every time I go. I just walk up and have never had to wait for a boat.
