Looking at a Thanksgiving week trip. Would it make sense to add on water parks? What about pools? Generally, both on and off site, are pools available that time of year? Warm enough to actually enjoy it?
Thanks

Hi,

Pools are heated...but the air is not always heated! It will be chilly when you get out of the water. That usually doesn't stop kids though!

Blizzard Beach will be closed the whole month of November, so TL will be your only water park choice.

Have fun!

Last Thanksgiving was really warm during the day!! We went to the MVMCP twice last so on those days, we didnt do parks. We spent both mvmcp days at the pool and on the beach at the Dolphin!! It was soooooo nice!! We also went to Blizzard Beach once in November for about 3-4 hours before mvmcp back in 02. The pools at the resorts on property are all heated. So my kids swim even in January. We have even let them get in at night when the rest of us were sitting there in jackets and gloves ( to hold our cold drinks!! lol )

I think you could definately enjoy the pools and water parks in November!

The weather was in the 80's when we went Thanksgiving week a few years ago. We definitely made use of the resort pools. Didn't plan on a water park as DH is not a big fan of them.

We were there last thanksgiving and the weather was very warm. It does cool off at night though but we still used all the pools. The water is heated and we brought bathrobes to put on as soon as we got out of the pools so that the intial shock wasn't so bad!
