Last time we were in WDW I remember the water tasting rather nasty. We used our Brita bottle most of the time. What I don't remember is if the ice machines at the resorts or in the TS and CS restaurants use filtered water or not. Does anyone know? I'm wondering about bringing some smaller water bottles with us and filling them with ice, and how that would taste.

If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it!

I couldn't tell you if it's filtered or not, but we found that water with the ice in the resorts was pretty good. We took water bottles with those insulated carrying things to the parks with us last july. I found some with wide openings at the top and a pop-up drinking spout at Walgreens. We filled them as full as possible with ice from the resort, a little bit of water, and refilled them through the day. Once the ice was gone, we asked for ice water from the cs restaurants and poured them into the bottles. The water fountain water was nasty, but this way we stayed hydrated with little expense or effort.

I dont mind the water at all......I always get water and ice at the restaurants and also drink it in the food courts.....I have heard other people having issues with it though.....

Anyone know if the ice is made from filtered water?

I know someone here has got to have a difinitive answer on this. There has never been a question I have posted that SOMEONE hasn't known the answer to!!!!

That's why I LOVE these boards so much!!!
