I think I remember a thread about people ordering water from Staples for delivery at WDW resorts. I tried searching the forums, but couldnt come up with this information. Could someone please tell me if what I am remembering is correct and how I can do this. We have Britta Water bottles for the parks, but thought I would like to have some regular water bottles for the room. We are staying at POP arriving on Nov. 25th. Thanks for any help. :wave2:

WE DID THIS! I would recommend just calling up the 800# and asking to sign up for free shipping, they should walk you through it. That's what I did and while I was on the phone I asked the "guy" if I could just place my order with him and ordered 3 cases of water for $5.29 each and had it delivered to our resort arriving on our arrival day, under our name and ressie number. Worked like a charm - only we had ordered TOO much water. We left one case behind, but it still saved a TON of money. Good luck!

So you have to sign up for some free shipping thing before placing the order? What about an address for them to ship it to? How do I get that and how will they know what room number to ship to? We are staying at POP- do we have to know the physical address for them? Thanks again.

Yep, you have to sign up and I think it's called Staples Rewards...there's no fee, and no minimum order you have to make... I swear - there's no catch.

You need a physical address for the resort, yes - I found mine in my Passporter, but I think you could easily get it online. We stayed at Pop too. When I checked in, the desk clerk said "oh, we have a package for you" and then went to go get it. You don't need a room number when ordering the water, they'll keep it up front until you check in.

you can get the address from the resort section on allears.net

How far in advance do you place the order? I was thinking about doing this since water is the only thing I will need to get and we are taking ME. Wegoshop's service fee is a bit high for just bottled water.

So we should place the order and ask for it to be delivered to the front desk of POP on our check in date? How far in advance should we place the order? Does anyone know if the water is still $5.29 per case? I guess I should check that on the website? Thanks :dog:

We ordered 2 cases of water for our stay about a month ago. I was nervous about it but it worked wonderfully.

I went to staples.com and got my rewards membership, went online and found the address of my wdw resort, called staples about a week in advance of our arrival and ordered my water---requested that it be delivered the day of our arrival, and called the resort that a.m. the day of delivery telling them of my water arrival and that I'd not be checking in until that evening.

We didn't reach the resort until after 8pm, they found the water when I checked in, and a bellboy brought it to our room. We spent about $12 on water, free delivery, and left our extra bottles in the room at check-out. Way easier than messing with brita water bottles!

The water is always $5.29 for the Nestle brand. I would wait about 2 weeks prior to your trip. Good luck!!

Thanks everyone for the help. Guess I will track down the address for POP and put my order in at Staples a couple of weeks before we go.

We drink Aquafina or Dasani brand water. How does the Nestle brank taste like? BTW, Staples.com currently have a free holiday shipping for all orders placed through December, so no need to sign up for any program.

I'm pretty picky about water (usually drink Aquafina, Dasani, Evian, Poland Springs) and had some concerns about the Nestle water. I thought that it was pretty good. In my opinion, it was better than Ice Mountain. However, it was about 90 degrees throughout our trip, so I may have just been very thirsty! :)

Thanks for the replies about Nestle water. I see they sometimes carry other brands that I've never heard of as well, including the Polar Springs. Amarberry, since you drink PS, would you prefer the taste of that over Nestle?

Anyone know if this would work for an off-site resort in DL? Thanks!

It should, since staples delivers anywhere. I'm really glad we ordered the water as it saved us a ton of money and it was so convenient.

Anyone ever have it delieverd to the DCL??????

I signed up for Staples Rewards and ordered on-line on a Saturday for Wednesday delivery. I got the Zephyrhills because I'm used to Poland Spring and don't like the taste of the Nestle water. The front desk at Coronado Springs gave me a number to call for the package at check-in, but when we got to our room the mailroom had left us a message. Fifteen minutes later it was delivered right to our room. You do need to be there when they bring it though.

We just finished a case of Nestles water, it tastes better than Dasani, it is easier to swallow even warm. I still like Earth H20 the best. And when we were at WDW we bought Aquafina and it was great!!

WDW was selling Zepher Hills water when we were there in 2001, it was nasty, it had the same sulfer taste as WDW water, yekky!!! It is bottled just a few miles away.

But just after that Coke told WDW hmmm we sell Dasani if you want to keep your contract you need to sell Dasani!!

I would ask the offsite hotel IF they accept Deliveries before I tried it!!

I would still sign up for the rewards program. It gives you money back on all Staples purchases (not sure what the % is) and 10% back if you buy inkjet cartridges. We usually get a check every quarter from them and I use them to stock up on office and school supplies. Plus every now and then they e-mail me coupons. I got $5 off last month for doing a survey.
