Since we're going to be there in August, it's clearly going to be HOT. So we'll have water bottles or something with us.

Are there public water fountains around the parks to fill them up?

Thanks princess:

You will have no problems finding a place to fill up your water bottles. water fountains are all over the place.

Yes there are water fountains but not all of them taste the best. I plan on taking some crystal light singles to add to the water in an attempt to cover the taste. Also I found the temperature to be not very cold. But water is water and it is free from the fountains.

That's a great tip, I'll try that on my next trip!

There are plenty of water fountains throughout the park. Although they have a very different taste then we are used to. I think it very high in Sulfur. You can smell it and taste it. YUK!

We pack a case of bottled water in one of our luggage, and by the time we come home we drank all of it, so there is plenty of room for all the souvenirs!!

water fountains are plentiful, but the water is usually warm. however, any of the cs or ts restaurants will give you a cup of ice or ice water for free. i did have one humorous experience with this: last september, i went up to this one place in tomorrowland at mk and asked for ice water-the woman was obviously rushed, lol, she gave me a cup of ice with a totally undisneylike attitude and told me the water fountain was "over there" as she pointed. i use a water bottle with a filter i got at innovapurewater.com (i think that's right, if not, i apologize). the service is GREAT! when the spout on my bottle broke right before my trip, the guy i spoke with over the phone at innova said if it didn't get to me before i left, they were close to orlando and they'd BRING ME ONE!

Oh yes, they are all over the place. There is always one at the entrance of each rest room.

;)

Just a little tip........ make sure and use the water fountain by the dancing waters at Epcot (at the Mousegear side)!!!! I will say no more but youre in for a treat!!

We have Brita fill-n-go bottles with a filter. We used the water fountains and crystal lite singles. This worked out great and we did not have to buy one bottle of water.

We can handle the water, but aren't thrilled with the taste (MK seems to be the worst). We are bringing the Kool Aid SUS packets this year, to help mask the taste.
