Water Bottles

Do items taken into the parks have to be sealed (like a new store-bought bottle of water) or is it okay to take a refillable bottle or camelback?

From my experience they do not care or have not in the past. Universal forced many to check bottles during mardi gras this year, but that was for assumed alcohol reasons. Disney does not seem to care, but if you are not picky about your water you can get free tap water in a cup from any disney restaurant or stand with a soda machine for free as a part of something disney provides and I have actually done this as recently as last week.

disney world does not care if the water bottles are sealed or open already or the reusable kind.

Disney is only concern with weather you have a glass bottle or alcohol which are no no's. Open bottle of water are fine. I do it all the time. I open a bottle of water, drain part of the water out and put it in the freezer at night so the frozen water can expand. That way we have ice water with us.
