water bottle w/carabineer?

I know that you can only ride with a fanny pack on FJ and some other rides but what if you have a water bottle hooked to your shorts with a carabineer? Was planning on taking them into the park (1st week of August) but dont want to be stuck using the lockers if I dont have to....

Not if it's on the outside of your shorts. That would be considered a carry on item and if the attraction prohibits carry ons...you would have to use the free lockers.
