Hi There, I was wondering, I always need water bottles at the hotel, I don't drink water from the tap, I was wondering if most the hotels along Harbor sell them at the hotel, or if not if there is like a handy market or uni market close to that area that I could pick some up at. Thanks a million.:goodvibes

There are small markets near the hotels and scattered along Harbor street. Most of them should have water bottles for sale. There is a 7-11 at the corner of Katella and Harbor. For bulk purchases, there is a Target west on Harbor about a mile or two from the resort.

I stayed at tropicana inn and they have a convience store (its across from disneyland). I bought bottles of water (large ones) and then I bought a big thing of water (2 or so gal. I think) so I could refil my water bottles and not have a bunch of empty plastic bottles. After I refilled them I'd put them in the fride we had in our room so we could have cold water. I think the smaller water bottles might fit in the little freezer..... I also don't like tap water. I also had a stroller so I would put the water bottles in the bottom basket, so I didn't have to carry them.....

hope this helps.....Water bottles are pretty expensive at dland and they are small....I could drink one of those in like 30 min haha!

Thank you so much!! I hope the Tropicana won't mind if I go in their hotel to purchase water bottles even though I am not staying there, would have liked too but they were booked. But hopefully they will still sell me some water. I need water.:goodvibes

The Tropicana's Minni-Mart is not part of the hotel, no need to go in. Just walk into the Minni-Mart and grab what you need. They won't care where you are staying. :) We use Aqua Clips to carry our water bottles around and we refill them in the parks. At Rancho Del Zocaro or at the First Aid Stations, they have good water there. :)

Just a helpful tip if water gets a little "boring" (ok, I like water, but once in a while I like to change it up), try the Crystal Light or Country Time Lemonade packets. They're small and easy and you don't have to pay for a sweet soft drink. Just carry a bottle of water and a packet and fill it up at a meal.

For water on our last trip we just stopped at the 7-11 at the corner of Katella and Harbor. Worked great.

We're staying at the Camelot and I keep going to the mini mart at the Tropicana so definitely no problems on using it! I buy the big thing of water and refill my own bottles. MUCH cheaper than buying water in the park!

I don't like the water either but with crystal light it's ok. We saved so much money and kept the kids hydrated. You can also get water at the French Market and there are good fountains at Hungry bear, lower level and the Island.

Thank you for all the great advice. So very cool that The Tropicanna has that mini-mart. That will be very great for the water situation, does anyone know how late they are open. I just don't want to stay at the park until close tomorrow night and then not have them be open. Yikes!!!:goodvibes

You could also place a delivery order from Von's and get some other snack type foods for the hotel as well! Then you could buy a big pack and I am sure pay much, much less than the local mini-marts?

We always go to the Trop. minni-mart. Not sure of their hours but I can say no matter what time we went to the parks or came home from the parks, they were open. Hope that helps! We too buy the gal. water bottles and refill our smaller bottles to take into the parks. Have a great time!

If you won't have a car, about 5-7 days before you get there you could order a case or two from costco.com as it only costs about $7/cs with no shipping charges. Just check with your hotel first to make sure they can store it until you arrive. I'm sure that will be a lot cheaper than any of the mini-marts in the area. BTW, you can also order without being a member but you will pay a 5% surcharge.

They also have Kool Aid in the little packets to add to your water bottles.

I can't remember the Minni-Mart ever being closed......
