Water Bottle Lanyards

Are these still available at carts in the parks? We hate carrying a back pack and would love it if everyone in our party could have one for their own water bottle.

Is there a similar product available elsewhere? In Canada? I have found lanyards at the dollar store, with a loop, but the loop does not have a toggle that tightens like the one's at Disney do.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Single digit days now! Can't wait!

On my recent trip the only place I found selling these was a popcorn cart in the Magic Kingdom. It may be that all the popcorn carts have them. I don't know because I quit looking after I found the one. I had looked at push carts selling bottled water and in gift shops throughout the World without success.

Different style water bottle straps used to be sold in each park and were easy to find. However, on my most recent trip (June 2010), I spent far too much time searching out every single cart and stand with practically no luck. Although I was able to find some rather large and clunky ones (with an extra detachable clip thing that doubled the size of what otherwise could be a simple strap) at MK, I couldn't find anything else. I have an old one from Epcot, and had been looking forward to getting a few more since I love these water bottle straps and use them on all sorts of trips (it was a lifesaver hiking the grand canyon). So I spent hours searching, but I was sorely disappointed. Hopefully they aren't completely gone and I really just couldn't find anything. Maybe you will have more luck than me.

we saw them back in january but they werent as prevelant as past trips

we always bring our old ones with and just look for new ones to add to the collection

In June, the snack cart right near Aladdin's Magic Carpets had them. It was not the popcorn stand, but the other little cart.

They sell a Mickey version of these in the parks. I think we paid around $6 for each of ours. We got them at the Muppet gift store in DHS (sorry, not sure of actual store name), but saw them in quite a few places. My DD loved carrying her own bottle (she clipped the holder to her belt loop) and I loved not being the pack mule for family.

Just got one on July 12th at a cart in Epcot...right in front of the American Pavilion (is that what that place is called?).

The cost was $3.75.

I think they make a great, inexpensive souvenir.
