Water at the parks

I was looking into a few ways to save money and for the most part we always order a glass of water with meals when we eat out. If we order a water with a meal ( counter or table, not bottled) is it going to have the sulfur taste to it like the water fountains do or does Disney filter the water? Thanks.

I *never* drink the water from the fountains. The water at the CS & TS is filtered, and I don't have any problems with it.

Ditto. I don't drink from the fountains, but then, I don't drink from public fountains because of the things I have seen people doing in/at/to them!!!

We drink nothing but water when we're at Disney.
We simply go to any CS venue and ask for ice water.

If you are concerned that you may not like the taste, take along the little packets of kool-aid, crystal light, etc, or take some water flavoring like MIO or DASANI.

Thanks, we never drink from fountains anyway, but I know that the FL water has high sulfur. I will throw a few kool aids in my bag just in case, but I would much prefer plain water which I guess means buying a bottle of water if all else fails ( it is just hard to see paying that much for water).

I have been able to drink the CS waters at the parks and they have tasted fine. I am super picky about clean tasting water.

At the hotel, we bought a 2.5 gallon bottle of water and drank that and filled our reusable bottles up with that water to bring into the parks.

Many kids meals include a drink, and so I would order bottled water as part of the kids' drinks, but still get them ice water to have with their meals, so we could bring the bottled water into the parks.

I *never* drink the water from the fountains. The water at the CS & TS is filtered, and I don't have any problems with it.

Us too....my DH gets annoyed I won't and won't let the kidos drink from the fountians.

I think that the water is hit or miss at WDW. We usually get a couple of sodas to split at CS places when we eat a meal, but have gotten water at the walk up places. Some of it is okay...other times....YUCKKKKKKKK! Maybe they do something different at CS restaurants, but those walkups...its a gamble for sure!
