Someone recently said to me that the Polynesian were turning people away from the beach if they aren't staying at the hotel, can anyone tell me if this is true?

We don't arrive until quite late on our first day. Too late for park tickets to be worthwhile, but early enough to enjoy a relaxing evening watching Wishes from a distance :) We will be staying at CSR.

I haven't heard that, unless maybe at a very busy time like the 4th of July.

I hope not, we were planning on watching it from there on our arrival day in June. :)

Thank you both :) I have also been hoping it's not true, and can't really see it happening to be honest - the resorts are usually always open for people to go and look at aren't they?

We wont be able to get our Dole Whips now that Captain Cook's is being refurbished, but it will still be a nice place to relax and enjoy the magic :)

I've never had a problem. Just say you have a dinner reservation and you should be fine.
