school closed today here in Jersey, so I am planning for our August trip today! Our 7 month mark is Sunday, and I plan to be on the phone, requests by my side! Oh, I hope they will not be closed - MLK holiday is Monday. Anybody know if MS will be closed Sunday or Monday?
I live in MA also so I hear you! Only I get to leave the snowblowing for my husband and the two college age boys can do the shovelling.
One month from today my husband and I will be trying BLT for the first time. We are owners at BWV but love to try new resorts.
my DH and I went to BLT just the 2 of us for a few days when they first opened and again last summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, walking to the MK can't be beat! A few days was enough for us though, as DH can't be too long without being able to walk to the ESPN club, so we usually have at least part of our stay at the BW or vicinity.
We also have a snowblower but taking the snow off the cars and shoveling the areas that you can't use the snowblower will be enough. We have to wait until May for our next trip. Blt is a great resort and so convenient. Our children are all grown and have their own families.
I'm in MI and spent 2 hours shoveling last night and dreaming of the Wilderness Lodge get away my husband and I will be taking at the end of Feb.!! The kids are staying home.
We have about 14"" on the top of our hot tub and still coming like gangbusters. My daughter is getting ready to leave for work and I need to make her a path to the end of the driveway 80FEET LONG. We're leaving on Fri. for 10 days at OKW thank god the storm is today and not then. While we're gone snow and dog duty is on her so I guess I can handel this task one more time before I leave
NJ and Long Island school closed. Bloomberg- "school closing is not determined by how much snow, but how well the streets are plowed". 5am - announced NYC school opens- great, all the teachers has to get out and start shoveling to get their cars out.
Are the sanitation gonna shovel the sidewalks when they're done with the plowing. I guess kids are snowboarding to school cuz I doubt anyone out shoveling yet.
Yep the schools are open here. Sent my son to school. The school buses were out so if they were running, he was going. Easy commute to work. Heck I made it to work in the blizzard so this was a piece of cake.
NE CT here -- about 18 inches currently and they're estimating 2 feet by the end of the snow. Worcester State University is closed, so I'm baking, cooking, and DISing. We have my 60th birthday trip - SSR - at the end of the month. I DO NOT want snow to mess that up
We got about 4 inches, it's a light snow, so it was easy to shovel. I am leaving Monday for WDW, so here's hoping we won't have any more snow for a while. It is a good day to get my suit case and start getting my things ready to pack.
