Watching The Bachelor wedding on TV

I thought it was really sweet. I enjoyed the ceremony very much. Sean's Dad is so darn adorable! I truly hope the best for them, and believe they genuinely love each other.

Her vows were ridiculous. The moth to the light, really?

I'm surprised they didn't do the morning show circuit to let us know how it all went last night. Maybe The Bachelor franchise contracted with them to save the details (like which outfit she wore and if, in fact, Sean did "perform masterfully" (but of course he did! :p )) for some future episode, like this season's After the Rose.

Refreshing to see a young couple who seem to really be in love, and committed to each other...from the Bachelor show.
Why not giddy, young and in love?
Wishing them every happiness.:)

Is it just me or do they mention the honeymoon night just a little too many times? And even showing the bed on a Honeymoon Suite Cam?

No, it's not just you. BLECH. We get it, you waited until your wedding night. If that's your decision, great, but must we hear about it in EVERY SINGLE conversation?!

Now, maybe it wasn't in every conversation but I only watched it for 10 minutes before I was gone. :rotfl:

I wonder if he covered her with his love sprinkles.

Here is what skeeves me out about all the wedding night talk - It is clearly important to him (and maybe her) to treat the wedding night as a sacred thing and it was important enough to his faith for him to become a "born again virgin" or whatever. Great, fine, I can appreciate that 100%. But doesn't talking about it ENDLESSLY on national TV make it far less sacred anyway?? The whole topic should have been one statement: "I made a commitment to my faith to hold off on a physical relationship until I am married so Catherine and I are waiting for our wedding night and we really looking forward to it." Done. I don't need to see "consummation station" or a weird lingerie shopping trip. Ew.

Exactly!!!

AMEN. :thumbsup2

I watched the wedding last night on DVR (and fast forwarded through many, many parts). My thoughts were that I just don't think they mesh well together at all. Or in other terms, I don't think they are equally yolked. It seems that Sean really cares about his faith, and Catherine is just going along with it. There were some awkward moments between the two of them, like when they were at a hotel and kissed each other good night in the hallway and each went to their separate rooms, there was moments of weird silences.

I have always found Catherine stiff and awkward and never felt any love between them. I think Sean got wrapped up in the Bachelor franchise and Catherine doesn't strike me as somebody who knows what she wants.

I'm watching the wedding show right now. I PVR'd it.

"grown sexy"

*barf*

WTH is with all the waiting to have sexy time talk. Enough already.

NO wonder Catherine has been just like completely obsessing about the wedding being all about SEX.... So obvious...

She was probably never full onboard with the wait for a full year thing.

She did that.. 'for Sean'
She moved to Texas.. 'for Sean'.
She acts completely silly and immature when she is alone with Sean.. 'for Sean'....

Anybody see a pattern here...
What about 'for Catherine'?????

She thinks she has found love...
And, I fully believe that she thinks that once she is married, that she will finally get the sex that she has been doing without and obsessing over from Sean... And, she also feels that, finally, she will see Sean be 'grown'.

"Grown Sexy" anyone....
Wow...
It is so very obvious and was painful to watch.

As I said earlier, sadly, I believe that Catherine is buying into the dream, and will be very sorely disappointed...

Because as those who have followed Sean for the past 2-3 years know he has been totally pegged as a total immature commitment-phobe.
